The precisely designed STI levers for hydraulic disc brakes offer powerful braking and effortless 11-speed shifting. The polymer-coated shift cables run under the handlebar tape. The vivid indexing provides consistent force on the shift lever across all 11 cogs. The ergonomic short shift arc follows the natural hand movement. The hydraulic brake lever offers powerful, controllable and consistent braking force with less effort, especially from the hood position. The hydraulic reservoir provides automatic adjustment of the clearance between brake pad and rotor, maintaining braking performance as brake pads wear. The set includes the ST-R685 STI, BR-RS785 calipers with pads, hoses and mineral oil (without rotors or adapters). The 10mm reach and free stroke adjustment allow for a customized feel and a good fit for all hands. The hydraulic system can be easily bled and cleaned, for use with Shimano mineral oil only.
