The ROTOR VEGAST crankset for road bikes was developed in conjunction with the ROTOR ALDHU and shares its innovative and modular design. While the ALDHU was reduced to an extremely low weight, the VEGAST boasts an excellent price/performance ratio and offers all the features of its sibling, with the exception of the ALDHU's wide variety of crankarm lengths.

Assembly takes just a few minutes without special tools, and changing chainrings is just as easy. Thanks to the Direct Mount System, where the chainrings are mounted directly onto the axle without a spider, a standard Allen key is all that's needed. There's a choice of the revolutionary one-piece chainring combination (chainring machined from a single block) and single chainrings, available in both round and ROTOR's oval Q-Rings with 12.5% ovality.
Alternatively, a Direct Mount Spider can be used, allowing for the traditional mounting of two chainrings with chainring bolts and further expanding the range of options.

ROTOR VEGAST's Direct Mount System allows for the first time fine-tuning of oval chainrings (OCP) in one-degree increments, thus providing unparalleled customization to personal needs. This gives the rider the best possible approach to optimal pedaling efficiency. The VEGAST crank arms, made of 6082 aluminum alloy, have been reworked/hollow-drilled with ROTOR's patented Trinity Drilling System and offer an ideal stiffness-to-weight ratio.
