Measuring helmet size:

When you want to buy a cycling helmet online, it is important that you know which size helmet you should buy. A well-fitting cycling helmet not only ensures optimal safety but also the necessary comfort while cycling.

It is easy to measure yourself what size you need. If you measure your head circumference using the steps below, you will have the size you need for a cycling helmet within seconds.

1. Take a tape measure.

2. Place the tape measure approximately 2.5 cm above your eyebrow and measure the circumference of your forehead.

3. Use the size chart in the product text of the cycling helmet you have in mind to find the correct size.

Please note, not all manufacturers use the same sizing.

What is size M for one manufacturer may be size S or L for another manufacturer. Therefore, always check the size in centimeters.

If you are right on the border, e.g. size M=54-57cm, and your head circumference is 57cm, we recommend that you take a size L.

A helmet that is too tight will pinch, resulting in headaches and discomfort. If you have a helmet that is a bit looser, you can still wear a cycling cap or a hat underneath.
