Braking performance is the core competence of every HS brake - the renewed 14 mm encoder piston and the 100% reliable MAGURA Royal Blood mineral oil guarantee strong braking power and optimal controllability under all operating conditions, for which the MAGURA hydraulic rim brakes in series rightly receive the highest marks. Thanks to TPA (Turbo Pad Adjuster), brake pad wear can also be compensated very easily without tools.

But ergonomics are not neglected either - on the contrary, the 3-finger brake lever scores with the ergonomics of the current MT disc brakes. The latest findings of the test winner, such as the new, tool-free reach adjustment (grip width adjustment) in 3 steps, were included.

And all this with some of the high-tech - brake lever, brake lever and handlebar clamp are made entirely of Carbotecture and save even 10 g per brake compared to the entry-level HS11. Thanks to simple bleeding and the ability to shorten the brake lever cable, the HS22 is particularly easy to install, which benefits both dealers and manufacturers. The optional Easy Mount version guarantees an even easier installation.
